Tall Ships - S/T

This band deserve your attention, they are absolutely incredible. If you get the chance to see these dudes live, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.

It may only be a 4-track EP but this may well be my favourite release of 2010 so far. I don't want to get into explaining it too much, just listen to it. Mathy and dancey sorta-indie-but-not-quite. Take my over-enthused opener in stride, it's really that great.

Touch Committee - Winter Beard

Touch Committee are an 8 fisted beast of rock music brought to earth on the back of the gods, sent on a mission of diplomacy and shredding... or something like that.

Winter Beard is Touch Committee's debut full length (having only released a 4-song ep previously), and one of my favourite finds of last year. It fits somewhere nicely between fuzzed out 90s indie rock and midwest emo (Cap'n Jazz etc). Feel good jams and catchy lyrics guarenteed.

These guys deserve your attention, so check it out. Oh, and the album cover is brilliant.

American Football - Discography

My favourite post-Cap'n Jazz related band, here's the (unfortunately small) discography of American Football.

If you don't already have it do yourself a favour and download it (or even better, buy it). Perfect music for winter months.

Know Think - Clean Closet E.P.

Sorry about the lack of any form of update in the past month or so, I had big plans for this place but my dad died shortly after my last post, which as you might expect put a hold on a few things. But this isn't the place to grieve, so...

I'm settling back down and hope to get some reviews and uploads up before the weeks end, in the meantime here's Know Think's Clean Closet E.P.

I've been jamming this alot today after not hearing it for a few months, nearly forgot how brilliant it is. Throwback kinsella-esque indie/emo. Think Algernon Cadwallader, Cap'n Jazz and Look Mexico. Highly recommended. Think they may have broken up now, can anybody confirm this?

This isn't my rip and unfortunately I got this a while ago and haven't got a clue where from, so credit to the original uploader whoever you may be!
